I think this is a useful method for editing and I use this all the time. However, for me, it doesn’t address the real problem. That is because my word flow and sentence structure are usually fairly strong. Content and support is where I struggle. If I could spend all my editing time rewording and rewriting the same information, I most certainly would, but it often results in more fluff than I intended on using, rather than more real information. Since I could use some help in these areas, I’d love to know this: How do you edit your own work for content and support?
